About the Production
Directed by Drew Barr in 2004, set design by Narelle Sissons, lighting design by Rick Martin and costumes by Kim Crumm Sorenson. The concept centered on the objectification of women, of unwittingly turning them into "cates", and the visuals to support this in design and execution were derived from Joseph Cornell's shadowboxes. This production received the 2004 award for best play by Cleveland Scene.
